The People’s Republic of China is offering 10 scholarships for undergraduate and 5post-graduate studies to Namibian students with excellent Grade 12 results or currently studying at universities.

In principle, the applicants must complete and submit their application forms on-line through CSC the newly-introduced electronic platform i,e.http://laihua.csc.edu.cn.

Applicants are required to complete the application form on-line, print it out, and                   submit together with other required documents in duplicate (two copies each).

Those who do not have access to the internet could still fill up the CSC –Printed Application form. Alternatively, applicants may download this form from http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua.), and submit together with other documents required

Applicants:

• Must have obtained outstanding results in Grade 12 (HGCSE) within last 2 years.
• must submit handwritten request specifying the field of study and the training level desired.
• Should note that the duration of study or research will depend on the field of study of the candidates.
• Candidates applying for undergraduate studies must be below 25 years old, while candidates applying for post-graduate studies shouldmust not be older than 35 years.
• The pause between the last graduation and the commencement of the scholarship should not exceed 3 (three) years.
• Graduates should submit at least two (2) recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors.
• Candidates must undergo a thorough medical check-up, including HIV/AIDS tests and results should be submitted together with the application forms.
