Namibians with exceptional Grade 12 results are hereby invited to apply for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships offered by the Russian Federation.

In total, 25 (twenty-five) scholarships are on offer, which is 20 (twenty) for undergraduates and 5 (five) for postgraduate doctoral studies. Applicants are invited for undergraduate studies in the following fields:

 Applicants are kindly requested to indicate the course code of the intended field of study. 

Eligibility:

• Candidates should be Namibian citizens.
• Candidates must have obtained at least 80% in most relevant subjects for the intended field of study and positive evaluation in all other subjects.
• Candidates for undergraduate studies should not be older than 25 years, while candidates for post-graduate studies should not be older than 35 years.
• The pause between the last graduation and the commencement of the scholarship should not exceed 3 (three) years.
• Candidates must undergo a thorough medical check-up, and results should be submitted together with the application forms.
• Candidates should submit a copy of Namibian Passport valid at least for more 3 (three) years.
• Seven (7) Passport photos.

• Duration of Bachelor studies is four (4) years while Masters is three (3) years.
• Those who do not have command of the Russian language will be granted an additional year.

Applicants for Postgraduate studies should submit the following:

• A notary witness copy of the certificate of higher education (at the level of Master of Arts/ Science grade).
• A quotation from the student’s record list containing the list of subjects studied and evaluations received.
• List of published research works (if any).
• A brief summary of the targeted research work (up to two pages).
